1997 Mazda Miata

A Purpose-Built, Street-Legal Weapon

With a stance that radiates aggression and a silhouette sculpted by pure function, this Mazda Miata is no longer a cute roadster—it’s a full-on track killer.

Clad in Jubiride fender flares and dialed in with the iconic Jet Stream Clubman R aero—lip, side skirts, and minimalist headlights—every inch of this machine is engineered for airflow and attitude. Jet Stream turn signal intakes feed into a Brightning front bumper duct, while Garage Vary carbon canards and the integrated turbulator hardtop (molded for max aero efficiency) remind you: this isn’t just for show.

The Stout Racing Type-R hood, locked down with Aeromotive latches, leads to a handcrafted rear wing featuring Zeromotive carbon canards, a custom bumper, and an APR GTC-200 carbon wing with Narita Dogfight end plates and risers slicing through the air.

Inside, weight and waste are gone. A raw, focused cockpit centers around a RWB steering wheel, Corns bucket seat, Takata harnesses, and a custom carbon gauge pod in place of a head unit. The passenger seat’s deleted, the center console’s stripped, and a Studio Dome lighting kit adds just enough glow to the custom door cards. The vibe? Cage fighter—literally—with an X-brace roll bar tying it all together.

Performance backs the attitude:

Supermiata 6-puck clutch with a lightweight flywheel, mated to a short-shifted ISR gearbox and Beatrush bronze shift collar

OEM Torsen diff with Garagestar delrin bushings and Chikara Motorsports magnetic plugs

Brakes are Effective: Wilwood 4-piston BBK up front, Stoptech rotors out back with Trackspeed caliper relocation

Goodridge stainless lines throughout for razor-sharp response

The car rides on Fortune Auto 500s w/ Swift springs (12k/8k), Racing Beat tubular front sway bar, Mazdaspeed rear, and adjustable Supermiata end links. Every joint—rebushed, powdercoated, and locked in with Megan Racing hardened rubber and Garagestar steering rack spacers. Even the NC front control arms and Beatrush PPF brace are hand-selected.

Wrapped around Volk TE37V 15x8.5 -5s, the Toyo R888s scream intent: 205s up front, 225s in back, ready to bite.

And it doesn’t stop there—titanium everything:

JDC lug nuts, shift knob, steering bolts, valve stems, spoiler hardware, Denso covers, and engine bay dress-up bolts

Every bolt, flare, and duct on this car speaks to one goal: speed, stripped to its essence. Built not to impress, but to dominate—on the street or at the limit.
